Shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, instability surgery, and sports shoulder conditions.

Our Shoulder Center treats rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocations, labral tears, impingement, and sports-related shoulder pain. Using arthroscopic techniques, we aim to restore strength and range of motion with minimal tissue trauma.

Symptoms

  • Shoulder pain with overhead activity
  • Night pain disturbing sleep
  • Recurrent shoulder dislocation
  • Weakness when lifting the arm
  • Clicking or catching sensation

Diagnosis

  • Physical examination (Jobe, apprehension tests)
  • Ultrasound or MRI
  • X-ray for bone and alignment
  • Assessment of range of motion and strength

Treatment

  • Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair
  • Bankart repair for instability
  • Subacromial decompression
  • Biceps tenodesis when indicated
  • Rehabilitation-first approach for partial tears

Recovery

  • Sling immobilization as protocol requires
  • Progressive passive then active motion
  • Strengthening from 6–12 weeks
  • Return to sport typically 4–6 months
